During the excursion torches are distributed, they create a special feeling, when the observed nature merges with modern sculpture. "Europos Parkas" was founded in 1991 by Lithuanian sculptor Gintaras Karosas. The goal of the museum is to give an artistic significance to the geographic centre of the European continent (as determined by the French National Geographic Institute in 1989) and to present the best of Lithuanian and international modern art achievements. While enjoying the treasured landscape of the park, you will at the same time discover the admirable world of art. |  | Discover the beauty of Vilnius by kayak The route starts 10 km away from Vilnius and leads the kayak along the rapid streams for 1 hour until reaching a beautiful park and waterfalls, a place to stop for some snacks and refreshments. After a break of an hour the rowing is continued along the river finishing the trip in the heart of old town of Vilnius. Towers of churches, bridges and outdoor cafes will be seen from the kayak. Vilnius is one of those few cities in the world which have an independent Republic inside the town. Don't forget to be ready for pleasant surprises, while visiting the artists' Republic. Of course, before entering the Republic you have to get a stamp into your new passport. Make sure to answer all the questions of the border guard correctly, otherwise your visa might be cancelled. Passing the border successfully does not necessarily mean the end of your adventures. After some time the group might meat "border patrol". Of course, "arrest and deportation" might be unavoidable. |
