On March 29, the Latvian national airline airBaltic started operating flights on the route from Vilnius to Dublin, capital of Ireland. On March 30, the Latvian national airline airBaltic started operating flights on the route from Vilnius to Hamburg, Germany. AirBaltic will fly from Vilnius to Hamburg three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Passengers will board a Fokker 50 aircraft for a flight that will last for two hours and 40 minutes. One-way ticket prices will start at LVL 34 (EUR 49), including airport fees and transaction costs. In summer season 2010 airBaltic will offer direct flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam, Berlin, Dublin, Copenhagen, London, Munich, Paris, Rome, Tallinn, Hamburg and Oslo. Estonian company AS Tallink Grupp presents a hotel in Riga under its own brand. Tallink Hotel Riga will receive its first guests on April 15, 2010. The new hotel will be designed for 256 rooms.
